Hmm, not sure where you got that impression.

Crate was and still remains fully remote-based, though most of the team is in MA.

Welcome to the team, Grava!

I expect nothing but excellence from you. That being said, considering the calibre of team members you are joining, I expect you will not disappoint!

Welcome, mate!

Their main HQ is where medierra lives!
They have satellite offices!
The Internet is their virtual office.

Is this not true?

People get stuck in old definitions!

While we're at it, guys... I've already asked about this a year+ earlier, wanna ask again to be sure. Can we hope for mercenaries in GD? Or would they be redundant?
I mean, all those NPC we rescue (or not) along the storyline are just standing there in Devil's Crossing and chilling out. Namely, Stephen Skinner (although he'd better stay with his family, since they deserved it), Helen Fletcher, Julius Cole, Rallia (she just disappeared after - if - the player rescues her, nowhere to be found again), etc... There're so many ways to play with all this, I'm just not sure if the game needs it at all.

Redundant I hope. I don't want mercenaries added. The problem with that is usually you end up not being able to play without them. your toon can't solo the game. You've got some pet masteries and who knows there may be more to choose from in the future, they'll do the job fine.

I agree, the mercs if diablo 2 are a good example, even then, some were more useful then others, I rather not see mercs in GD, as it could very well upset the balance of things.

Thanks for your reply.

11 seems really small but look at the game, just amazing!

On the other hand, Grinding Gear Games had 22 and quadrupled to 88 over the years.
