I think they're still working on getting all of the basic stuff down first. Maybe later on they'll have the time and ressources to add some more gimmicks and optional elements.
There has been talk about destructible containers and obstacles, though, so that should be interesting. In Titan Quest, the world was almost entirely static and you couldn't really interact with it. |

Please no traps, I'm maybe the only one that dont like traps in games like this. If it was a platform game, or a rouge like game, ok, but this... please not.

It is possible to put traps into this kind of games without them being annoying or anything. You could bring in ancient ruins that the player knows have some traps so he gets used to them and paying attention to them. Maybe make them optional dungeons for looting.
