There's no need to avoid calling out it's name either.

In fact all that fuzzing around is effectively what creates the elephant. So just relax, and be cool about it.

D3 will come out some time - most probably not on any specific date that Blizzard told or leaked - then we all will buy it and see for ourselves if it's any good or not. No need to get psyched now - neither in a positive nor in a negative way.

I don't understand why people always feel the need to convince others about how awesome or how disappointing they think a game will be. Am I the only one who gets the feeling those guys just wanna convince themselves of whatever they'd like to believe?

Insecure people do it because they crave affirmation for their beliefs. Egotistical people do it because they feel that everyone should know their opinions and should agree or suffer for failing to do so.

There are many people who wanted D3 to be D2 with new graphics, and they are unhappy with what Blizzard is doing. Hence, they project their negativity onto other places (such as this board). When D3 goes on to sell millions of copies, they will still hold on and project these negative thoughts to any sympathetic audience they can find.

I applaud Blizzard for their willingness to alter the conventional mechanics of the genre for D3 (wish the SC2 team would have been so bold). D3 is going to be great. I love the new art style. Plus, it provides an excellent foil for Grim Dawn. Differentiation is the key to success for Grim Dawn.

I believe in D3. Just as I have already purchased the Legendary Edition of Grim Dawn because I believe that will be great... and worth supporting even now.
