Default The Humble Indie Bundle 2

I'll let there website speak for them.

Quote:
Pay what you want. If you bought these five games separately, it would cost around $85 but we're letting you set the price!

All of the games work great on Mac, Windows, and Linux.

We don't use DRM. When you buy these games, they are yours. Feel free to play them without an internet connection, back them up, and install them on all of your Macs and PCs freely. There is no time-limit on your downloads.

You can support charity. Choose exactly how your purchase money is divided: Between the game developers, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, or the Child's Play Charity. Also, if you like this deal, a tip to the Humble Bundle itself would be much appreciated!

How much is this bundle worth to people? Let's take a quick look.

Support Indie Devs, the EFF and Childsplay while getting a ton of great games. How can you go wrong?

Thanks for the heads up.

The first bundle had better quality titles in my opinion, but this one isn't bad. I'd likely only play Osmos and Revenge of the Titans though. Machinarium possibly, but I doubt that one will take more then an hour or two to complete.

Not sure what value I'd place on these titles. I mean Steam recently had some awesome 5 packs of indie games for $5.

Heh, another great deal, thanks for pointing it out. I already own Osmos and Braid though, both failed to impress. The rest might be better..

Bought this yesterday and fired up Revenge of the Titans since I had no idea what it was about, and suddenly it was 4am.

It's funny with tower defense games. I kinda roll my eyes at "jeez yet another one?" but I still get sucked in.

What grabbed me with RotT is how the monsters will try to follow roads, but can still deviate if they get scared by turrets (and vice versa, charge off towards a building if they feel they can take it), so it's fun having to go all Sun Tsu on them and coming up with a waterproof defense.
The visual style of it is pretty cool too, it's HD but with a stylized pixellated look.

I just bought the bundle and I'll be trying this out this weekend now that I've finished up Red Faction: Guerrilla (and before I start in on Just Cause 2). I'll probably give all the games a try, but I am really hoping that Revenge of the Titans is worthwhile.
