GamersGate sales now. It's standalone expansion so you don't have to own the original to play.

GamersGate has slashed 50% off of 1C's RPG King's Bounty: Armored Princess as part of its weekend sale.
The sequel to The Legend goes for $30 standard but can be had for just $15 through Sunday, April 18.

It's $6 on Direct2Drive today, so it's a good time to grab it :p

Well it's part of D2D's sale that has been going on for a few weeks...6 deals for 6$ every week or something.

Even so, I believe Crossworlds adds content to Armored Princess? Not sure if buying Crossworlds gives you that content anyways though.

*edit*

It looks like Crossworlds will be standalone...so it's probably wiser to wait for that to come out :D

Here's a nice preview/write-up of Crossworlds:

Hmm wish I could get into this series. I tried the demo but just didn't like it as much as HoMM and Disciples II. I really feel like I'm missing out on some good tactical battles though. Maybe I'll try it again if I'm feeling bored some time, but the next few months are going to be killer with all the RPGs I want to play coming out.

I'm interested in the editor.
That's my main reason to get Crossworlds.

Tbh, I found it sorta interesting and actually finished the first game; but it turns into a grindfest; all battles and tactics become the same. The achievements in the second installment made the game more boring to me. It's not hard to achieve them, but it really limits the gameplay value and it makes the game even more static.
