Question about Alpha and Legendary Orders

Myself and a friend are considering upgrading to legendary, but my question is will legendary pre-orders still be out when alpha is out? My friend will probably buy the legendary after i tell him my opinion of the alpha, so hopefully legendary will still be available when alpha comes out...

Anyway, I remember that they wanted to keep all preorders up until the release. So it'd be possible. But the sooner, the better for the game ofcourse :)

I'll be upgrading to legendary and giving him my regular key. If he likes my opinion of the alpha then he'll buy legendary. *Just a clarification*
