Well you see, the 60x60 avatars are the free-2-play version, you have to upgrade to a premium avatar for the small price of $899.95.
Actually, they were defaulted to 80x80 but I then reduced them because I felt like it cause too much empty space between posts. I could be persuaded to go back to 80x80... ; )
You'll notice I'm going with 60x60 though in an effort to help reduce my carbon footprint... ? uhh yeah!
Im so hungry for this game, I thought it'd said "Alpha Active" ...
is that sick?

Haha nice! If only..
should we hope for small images in sigs? :)
seeing the current construction (lol... construction of a web site? :D) of the forum, small 300x50 sigs or so wouldn't hurt (actually, those image bars or what they're called).
But its quiet nice without sigs when I think about it.

Hm, I got 80x80 I think.
Also; yay for the better-fitting smilies! ;):D:rolleyes::cool:

Very small sigs, if any, and preferably with an option for each user to turn them off in personal settings. Don't know if that's possible?
I find it extremely annoying to read forums with hundreds of huge, different sigs full of colors and flashing and so on. The more active the forum is, all the more messy it gets with sigs and avatars. Hence the turning off part...

Exactly. Signatures are much more prone to consume screen real estate than avatars.

Yes its 80x80
i suggest you hang on to it, as the next time you try to change - bye bye 80x80 >.<

Not that screen real estate is at a premium on a 24" but i best not brag, there's *always* someone with a bigger van parked outside. ;)

Of course. I'm on a 22" and an 80x80 avatar is nothing. I love XS's 180x180 avatar limit, but I understand most forums are more concerned with bandwidth, thread layout, etc.

Myeah, the size of the actual image is lower than 60x60 (I made it extra small so I can put santa hats on it). So doesn't really matter what I do with it either way.

The image is 80x80; but there's a lot of filled transparancy in it.

Look on steampowered forums: no sigs, no avatars(only for moders and VALVe employees) AND MOST IMPORTANT: NO HOTLINKING yaaay. And they are still one of the most used gaming forums in the world.

Nah, avatars are fun ;)
The forum isn't totally to my liking tho, skin could be changed a bit.

There's only one reason Steam forums are used; Steam.
Anyway, stuff as signatures and avatars can be turned off for everyone individually, so it's not an issue I think.
