Dude,I was sondering why don't you make some of the magic more powerfull when you charge it.For example the volcanic orb in the Earth mastery .When you start maxing you first shoot a fire rock !@#$%%
But when it's maxed you fire a more powerfull /spectacular looking rock that shakes the earth like Snoop dog's dancers. So the skill could be used lie a normal bullet in a machine gun when fighting single bosses,or could be charged up and devasate whole areas with enemies. And most of all you can make a great spectacle out of single spells :P

I like the idea. It might turn out to be a bit tricky ingame, if you are surrounded by enemies (damage could discharge, what has been build up :p). You should not be able to charge in a safe place and then run to the enemies to blow them up. The spell should be fired off, once you release the button or if you charged it up to the maximum. But why such a cheesy thread title?

Yes but think about the possibilities. One skill could offer so much more if it's done this way.For now it was charge n times and release damage.Nothing more to it.At least the super hit sould be more spectacular.Another thing is that when you use a melee character the effects are different .With a mage or a ranged shooter it's a whole different story. And I thought that it'd be very cool when combining for example frost attacks wit a fire aura/charge up skill. The time you release your super bolt it would'n be normal fire but be blue fire that frostburns and deal AOE damage blablabla.
I think It can make THE DIFFERENCE and make players see one skill in a different way with each play.Ofensive defensive bla bla .It's your choise:cool:
