Alien Shooter 2

I just played Alien Shooter 1 and it's quite satisfying. Anyone played Alien Shooter 2? I read some review about it and it quite many improvement from AS1. AS2 is much more ARPG with inventory and stat. I'm planning to get it.

Did anyone already played it?

I played it, and that review is pretty much spot on. If you enjoyed the first you are really going to like the 2nd. It's the same basic gameplay beefed up with some basic ARPG stuff like leveling. Personally AS2 is one of my guilty pleasures :D

I've played the second one but not the first. I found it very enjoyable as long as I was prepared for a small budget "just blow sh*t up" game with a little RPG in it.

I've actually played through it 3 or 4 times. There are enough weapon types and skills to warrant experimenting. Too bad the multiplayer function isn't all-out coop though, the only multiplayer it has is a survival/wave mode and deathmatch, but I didn't try them.

At the core of it, it's diablo2 with plasma rifles and grenade launchers, WASD controls, and a mouse reticle for aiming. You can't go wrong with that.

I think it's fine here. Rather than discussing what you're playing, we can discuss the game itself :)

I've also played the game, quite enjoying for what it was. Especially the lightning, atmosphere and the gore were done very well. Also, the huge amounts of enemies throwing themselves at you. Too bad about the somewhat low resolution though, I had hoped that a relatively new game would at least support better resolutions.

Never played AS1 though.

Wow, like all positives. I definitely gonna get this. $5 at steam. Btw, if you gonna get AS1, i suggest you don't take the Complete Shooter Pack (http://store.steampowered.com/sub/1645/) for $15. You get $20 games for $15 but since it include Zombie shooter, you should just take what you never played for $5. I have zombie shooter. It's fun and pretty and all, but the camera rotate following the car direction. Made my head ache.
