New Post Threads turn into No New Post Threads untimely

I'm a bit confused. Everytime I visit the forum, I see several threads with new posts. So I start checking them. But after a while all of them are not highlighted anymore, although I just visited a few of them. :confused: I see some New Post Threads then, if someone replied to it after I entered the forum.

Is there a setting in the User Control Panel to disable this behaviour? Or is this due to Firefox pre-loading threads? Can I change this? Or is it a forum bug?

If I'm not mistaken, once you view a new thread it is no longer highlighted. Don't know if this is what you mean.

That would be OK ... let's say there are 5 threads with new posts. Once I'm done with 3 of them, the other 2 are not highlighted anymore, too.

Now I get ya.. don't know about that one as I haven't really paid much attention to it. Maybe checking out one of the new posts causes all the new posts in that forum category to be not highlighted anymore?

I've also had some weird problems with postings... often when I click the last unread post in a thread it does not take me to the last unread post, but the last posted post... or the last post since I did something else...

It just doesn't seem to work as well as the TQ forums button which does the same thing...
