I had a first generation Guitar Hero Guitar Controller which I have had and used since the first release of Guitar Hero on the PS2. When my PS2 died I bought a PS2-USB adapter and used it on the PC for Frets on Fire and yesterday is the day that it has passed on to shred fat solo's in the sky.
I went into the city (an hours drive away) in the hopes of finding a controller, but with the release of Rockband 3 and the new Guitar Hero Game no one has any stand alone controllers anywhere. I would of had to buy a bundle with a game I didn't have a system to play it on for $65.
So I went to Amazon and picked up a Rock band Guitar Controller for $25 including shipping, but it wont be here until the 17th, so I will have to content myself playing real guitar which I have sadly come to discover I have forgotten a ton about in my 5 years of neglect in playing it.
This has made me decide that for every hour I play Guitar Hero or Rockband, I will also have to spend an hour playing my actual Guitar.
:D
