Game keys available once again

Hello All,

As many of you know, we've been through a bit of an ordeal recently after changing web hosting services. First we had problems with our emailer not sending, then after fixing that we discovered that many of our emails to services such as hotmail were being killed before even making it to the spam box. :o

After a bit of research we concluded that this was due to our lack of a static IP address and other such nonsense on Amazon Cloud, our new web hosts. Thanks to a little tinkering with the configuration and a new elastic IP address that seems to be more spam-filter friendly, everything appears to be working smoothly once again. I just personally tested it by purchasing a key and sending it to a hotmail account. It arrived successfully, so we've reactivated the buy-now page. :D

If anyone encounters further difficulties, please don't hesitate to contact us.

The devs are nice though, so there shouldn't be much of a problem getting your key ;)

If it still doesn't work:
Email support (support@crateentertainment.com)
Remember to tell them which e-mail address you ordered the key for/to.

There is a know issue ... so use above Email support link, please.
We periodically have people who don't receive their keys, which we believe is a result of their email services rejecting the Amazon Cloud elastic IP that our automated emailer uses. In such a case, the email is killed before it even reaches the spam box. We can easily track down people's keys though in our log and send them out manually.

I'm in the same boat as bazon. I tried both suggestions above and both proved to be fruitless. I'll PM Medierra on Monday.

Update: After PMing Medierra, he came through like a champ and I received my game key today. :D

If you haven't received a key after a day or two, please email support@crateentertainment.com. It is helpful if you use the same email address you made the purchase with and / or include your transaction ID.

It seems that some email services are still rejecting our Amazon sever IP and there doesn't appear to be much we can do about it other than move to a different hosting service, which we don't have time to undertake currently.

A limited number of people have been affected, so for now we're just manually emailing out keys to anyone who the auto-mailer is failing to reach.

Just pre-ordered and received my key in an instant. Keep up all this awesome work! Might as well upgrade later on to some Kickstarter package :)
