Just filling you guys in on a few games (MMOs) that I ran into either by ads or word of mouth, that have become completely free to play:

Ever quest

Warhammer Online

Need for Speed World - this is the only one I'm playing from time to time, it's cool but I don't think they'll be able to sell another NFS game for the PC.

You can sign up for a free account when you google the titles.

thx! I'll be sure to check out WO and NFS,

also, Dungeons & Dragons Online is partially free (you need to pay monthly supscription or buy 'credits' to unlock all features.

Warhammer Online! Free! I'm gonna go check it out :D. Warhammer is the only game that's ever tempted me to pay to play, but I never did because I'm not sure if I can handle the controls.

Does anybody know if it's WASD only? Or can you use point & click as well?

Anyway, this is great news. Thanks for the heads up An7hrax.

Tiptoe I believe it is WASD only.

It's free though, so you might as well check it out. lol

I've heard that LOTRO was also partially free, I think you can buy better armor and weapons, but I'm not quiet sure.

Warhammer online is a free unlimited timed trial only, there are still restrictions.

yeah, Warhammer is not free

there is an unlimited trial so you can get a char up to level 10, but no further
you are limited to one area in tier one (a fairly large area, but you are not experiencing all of tier one, and you cannot go to tier 2, or 3 or 4 and you cannot travel to the capitol city or use the auction house or send email)

the unlimited trial is still awesome though, lots of good PvP, scenarios and public quests
its a great game

I play almost every night and was up till 2:30 last night playing
