hi all

i know that some of u will get angered because this has been brought up before probably but i honestly dont have the time to look through all the forums here. I only heard about this development recently and ofcourse im a big diablo fan waiting for D3 to hit the shelves, but who knows how long that will take.

Anyways what i really wanted to say was that i played TQ and i enjoyed it but there coulda been so much more to it. One thing that annoyed me that there was no appearance customizations everyone was just another clone. I actually downloaded a skin pack to make it look a bit better. havent really had the time to do research but will there be more customization to how your character initially looks? Can i make his hair short or long, give him some nice tatoos etc.

Something i also heard about D3 is that they will be introducing dyes to armours etc, i think that would be really cool if u could change the colour of your chainmail or leggings etc.

oh and guns hmmm :( makes ur sword kinda seem pointless unless ur a jedi :P

It has been discussed to death but overall the consensus is most people want at least some sort of customization. I can't remember exactly but I believe medierra already confirmed there would be more options for character creation (hair styles, facial features, body size, ect). Not sure how detailed it will be, but obviously it's an improvement.

I really hope there will be armor dyes as well (this wasn't confirmed though)...been playing Too Human and it is nice to add/change some color to the players items.

kewl, that sounds promising. I just think its so important that in these types of games that your character has his own unique look to him/her. looking forward to this game, gonna be great :D

I would hope (an expect) there will be character customization at some point with Grim Dawn, but honestly I'd expect the majority of it to come through DLC or an expansion, once Crate has actually produced a fun, playable game. Because in order to have fun playing a customized character, you have to have a quality game to play it in.

I agree with that too. Customization comes secondary to gameplay so even just a small amount would be fine. I'm quite sure the equipment designs will be great just as they are, so maybe some customization of the actual character would be good? (eg hair colour, physique)
