I was looking through the media-sections and found those two screenies. Looks like I missed them before (duh) but here the questions about them:
1. First screen: Will we be able to actually take aim? It looks like it.
2. Second screen: What is that thing? It looks like Kentucky Fried Harpy...
Am I the only one who missed those two? I really thought there was only one screen of a windmill...

1, As Medierra said we are able to take aim.
2,Huge Harpy or something "big" flyin' mob. Definitely an enemy.
3, You are the only one(from the very core fan base) who missed them.:D

No, you cannot take aim, but the combat-idle animation is posed such that the character looks to be taking aim. Given the top-down perspective, there isn't really any good way to do aiming unless we were to have a first-person zoom-in or something, which the engine just isn't designed for.
The flying creature is currently called a "raptor", however, it is not a dinosaur but rather a creature native to another plane of existence that has wandered into Cairn through the rift portals.

That of course doesn't make up for the still missing blog-post. ;)
