I loved TQ.
The first half i played trough i rarely got rare item drops. And it was a shame because the rare armor was so beautiful. But i'm not the type of player that likes to Grind, i just like to go through the game and get what i get.
So i decided to install a fix that lets you select what rate you get rare items. i put 90% percent. Oh man was the game way more fun to play. I loved getting legendary weapons and armor, even if they were low level, because it made my char look cool. i think after that i started over multiple times with multiple chars.
I also had the hack that let you make your character naked. that was nice for the girls. even though you never played them with the armor off, it was still i nice little extra feature. I played a female BTW.

In conclusion, i would like more freedom to do what you want. more options. just like the hacks had, i dont know if you have looked at them, but you should, the options where awesome. made your great game... greater.

also i just donated, what a great idea. really looking forward to this.

There will probably be hacks for this game as well, but I don't think the developers will put hacks into the game as "options".

erm, nevermind. Farming=/=Grinding. But, whatever. :) If you don't like farming, that's all you, but most ARPGs have this feature. IMO, playing with extra loot % makes the game really dull. I like to be surprised by the items that drop, not be bombarded by them and spend the whole time playing surveying the items i pick up.

:/ Good to know, I guess.... I don't enjoy nude chars, female or not. It seems distasteful.

Freedom is great, and I guess this would be an ok option for lazy people, but like Renevant said, probably not gonna happen. It would ruin the gameplay for a lot of people who prefer finding their loot with a bit of a challenge(like me). Sure, I can leave it disabled, but knowing it's there is enough.

I don't really find it distasteful, but that kind of stuff can really cheese up a game. Pixelated boobies are silly anyways :D

It might be nice if they have an option, like matrix where, before you start the game you could pick % of rare drops and how dificult the monster would be.

It's probably not an entirely unreasonable request, but at some point they have to make the game and balance it based on what their idea of fun is. They could make stuff like that an option, they could go nuts and make it so people could tweak the game in many ways...but then it actually becomes counter intuitive with so many options.

Realistically, these types of things are usually left to hacks. I would bet money that hacks similar to TQ will be available for Grim Dawn as well.
