More stats for pets, please!

I don't know if there are going to be pets in Grim Dawn, but if there are, please add more stats for pets on more equipment items. In TQ, pet stats were only found on jewelry and staffs, and if one relied on pets mostly, it was rather boring getting new items, as they did little to improve your killing power. Since loot is such a big part of this game, please consider adding interesting and varied loot for the pet lovers out there.

Also, please please please create set items/unique/legendaries with pet classes in mind. In TQ I don't think there was really a single type of those items that had pet increasing stats...which limited pet classes to u/l/s items with +skill attributes and greens with +%petdmg and stuff.

Some control of the AI might be nice as well, even if it's just limited to something like "attack individually/attack collectively".

Summon some Skellies in S2 & the first thing they do? Run several screens away & drag every single monster back to you...

Actually, in Titan Quest you could tell your pets to attack, move to a position, and retreat. There were 3 different dispositions as well for pets that would effect their basic AI...and you could set them on the fly.

I'd imagine the pet system in Grim Dawn will at least have these basic features that it's predecessor had.

On a side note, the pet AI in Sacred 2 was just...awful. Actually, in Torchlight it's pretty bad as well. I don't think there's another ARPG out there that comes close to doing pets right as TQ.

If it's based on the TQ engine, the scan distance of any pet would be limited to very small so the summoner can keep a general eye on him/her/it (mostly it).

I'm sure that pet stats and AI will evolve from TQ. The AI was already quite nice and they will likely improve or expand in the statistics/items department for them as there are heeeaaps of people who enjoy a good pet build
