Advanced Graphics on Player Skills

After falling in love with Titan Quest's storm mastery, I began to notice the possibility of enhanced graphics and sound. Surely sound greatly enhances the immersion of the player, especially when the lightning strike sounds like it struck next to them.

An idea occurred to me one day after I used my lightning strike. Wouldn't it be cool if it rained a little bit after the lightning strike? Just a quick downpour where lightning struck. (kinda weird how lightning can strike without a single drop of rain or cloud in the virtual sky?)

If it's magical lightning, electricity, it doesn't require clouds nor rain. To me a Druid would be more like that, drawing power from nature, including rain (water elementals, flood...). Such a Druid would be somewhat weaker indoors, barring her from using skills from above.

A conventional Wizard on the other hand could have skills like TQ's Lightning Strike, of pure magical electricity.

Lightning can strike from the sky without a single drop of rain.
That being said; it would make for some awesome eyecandy to see the shadow of a cloud appear, disappear and see a small downpour (with splatters) fall to the ground..
