What is hard about coding shaders? Actually I never really knew what shaders are doing, lol...

Shaders (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaders) are little programs that run on your graphics card. They decide what color your pixels are and where they come out. HLSL (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Level_Shader_Language) (high level shader language) is the programming language they are written in (mostly - some of the TQ ones were done in assembly, which isn't really used any more).

They aren't really hard to make.
